No Place To Hide Me

there were
no places
to hide me
as I went
looking for you
in the spaces
between rain drops
too many
too scattered
so I melted
showing all
I was so
afraid to love
but more afraid
not to

Helen, I can identify with this one.  Makes me think of, "Better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all!"                  jo

This kind of reminds me of the guy who was,
so skinny, he had to run around in the shower, just to get wet...

But seriously, what this really reminds
me of, is of a fragile and delicate heart,
who tried so hard to hide her true feelings,
but couldn’t, because she risked it all...

It’s amazing what love,
can make us do...

Wonderful Helen!

In the night rain
There are shadows of drops
As drops fall into shadows
And no one sees
When they mix with tears
Beyond the rain touch
With their shadows of drops
Hides many things
Fears and tears
All that are there
Fears and tears
Left behind
Hidden
Safely
Nowhere

Reminds me of the song by Garth Brooks..."The Dance"...I might have missed the pain, but I would have missed the dance...

I sighed and I slouched at this emotional drain.
