(giggles in delight) Such imagery fills such few, wonderful words, sweet friend, I felt the dizzy spell reading this, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sadelite, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Sadie - This poem reminds me of another senryu!  As I recall, the senryu was titled, "Inebriated Again!" - I think it was in the American Journal of Poetry, Volume 47.  I hope she doesn't check my phony references

iliana,
Yes, Dad really worked at figuring out
what small gift he could give us that would leave an impression.  I'm glad this may have brought back a warm memory or two.

Noah,
I have a feeling you like science, too!
Thanks for stopping by.  I have enjoyed reading your posts, but don't always have opportunity to comment.   I'll stop by again soon.

passing shadows,
Not really-I just have a memory for certain pictures.  This one just has always held my interest.  Glad to see you again.   I have read your recent posts but am in a situation that I need to avoid posting during the time frame most convenient for me.
I'm noticing more assertiveness--good for you, Lady.  Your poetry, however, continues to flow like rolls of silk.

Jamie,
I'm beginning to appreciate the shorter ones more each day, too!   Glad you liked it.

Grover,
Another sweet comment... It is your wonderful poetry that I should be commenting on.

TOERAG, whoops, I mean "LNGJNG":
I did, in fact check your references, and just as I had suspected, I found in American
Journal of Poetry, Volume 46, that you had written a poem entitled "Just Like Me" about your identical twinsy, Toerag.  I always thought there were similarities there....
   Beeee good, you silly thing!
