A Flood Of Teardrops

Our love is but our fantasies fulfilled,
The essence of our hopes, our wants, our needs.
While echoes of persistent longings stilled
Are evidence of spirits newly freed.
So hungrily we taste taboo desire
And forge our private, hidden, lover's world,
Complete with wicked treats of lustful fire,
Delicious twists of ecstasy unfurled.
Let those so unaware be ever so
For love as ours demands its privacy
And let the aura born of passion's glow
Be all of what we share they ever see.

Cascading as a flood of teardrops wept,
Such love must ever be our secret kept.

Hidden passions? Hmmm? Well done. Enjoyed. Chris

I love you
With a thousand hearts."

Another hidden passions one, huh?
Very good writing, David.
