A Catcher's Glove... |

Yesterday, a young man went off to war left behind a shed of tear a tug of heart and on a closet floor a catcher's glove worn and tattered as the result of a thousand sunny Kansas afternoons where the worst thing that could happen was breaking old man Smith's back porch window. Today, a soldier died a mother cried and the neighbor boy from down the street hit a home run over the school yard fence breaking old man Smith's back porch window. Tomorrow...
