State of the Cryosphere

Weak permafrost delves deep. It clenches fist,
broadening fissures already there. What
was complete is thus flawed emptiness as
measureless as totality. Just like
celestial bodies thrown away upon
insignificance heartache whorls into
this vacuum. It reaches for timelessness
seeking the intelligence of its' God.
And what is God's name? Allah, Elohim,
or Yahweh? Nay it is none of these. It
is you...and this chasm in my heart is
the fracture your leave-taking left. Thin ice
builds naught. It merely chills the love once held
‘til grief crashes into brackish water.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!
