(I'd like to specially give thanks to Kacy (Midnitesun) who inspired me to write this in response to her incredible poem "WE THE PEOPLE". This is dedicated to every one of you, God Bless You All! )

State Of The Reunion Address
By: Noah Eaton
2/8/04

Thank you,
thank you,
and bless you all this day!

My fellow Americans,
and everyone across the world,
WE are the people,
no matter what the greedy unfurl,

we are all but one family under God,
holy brothers, sisters, sons, daughters,
with only latitude and longitude dividing us,
all but a short distance between shoulders,

we are all on a mission from above,
to build the fountation of liberty,
and justice on behalf of every man, woman,
and child, regardless of race, dissent and belief,

I for one recognize all men, and women,
are created equal, and that right must be pertained,
no matter if you're rich or poor,
no matter if you agree or disagree what others say,

freedom, my friend, is not condensed milk,
it is a gift, a privilege we must earn,
which can't be obtained through suppression and carnage,
it can only be received by walking hand in hand together,

Thomas Jefferson said, "The man who reads nothing at all,
is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers."
There is no time for interminable procrastination,
we must act in familial fellowship and let the heart deliver,

there is no time for boycotting or gallow humor,
covering anothers mouth when they wish to speak,
haranguing who is right and who is wrong,
we are all but mason bees in employment to Queen Liberty,

for, my friend, I believe in the First Amendment,
the right to speak without governmental interference,
the merit to publish information without chastising,
the prerogative to publicly protest nonviolently without hindrance,

I recognize I, myself, am not perfect,
as any of God's creations can folly,
so in the event that you disagree with my policy,
always feel free to speak out and confront me,

and should I ever deny your God-given rights,
you have the right to slap me in the face,
as I have not the desire nor the intent to stonewall,
any one of God's children in this blessed human race,

Theodore Roosevelt said,
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President,
is not only unpatriotic and servile,
but is morally treasonable to the American public.",

therefore it is my much honorable responsibility,
to lend an ear to your every word and eyes to your hearts,
there will be no constitutional wall painted over,
these truths we hold self-evident will be protected no matter where you are,

your rights shall not be abridged or re-written,
they'll remain genuine and true behind masking paper,
your ways of living will be respected and scatheless,
as diversity and variety flavor this nation with spice and color,

Abraham Lincoln said, "I am a firm believer in the people,
if given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crises.
The great point is to bring them the real facts.",
and I stand firm by his honest words, as you can see,

for you have suffered too long under lies,
and all the lying liars who ruthlessly prevaricate,
with their euphemistic, nice Nelly, circumambages,
only wanting you to hear what they want to hear, running astray,

the truth is the only thing that can set you free,
and I desire only to speak with verity,
for I believe in His faith and established doctrines,
and only the truth can create harmony and clarity,

I SHARE A DREAM, with our brother Martin Luther King. Jr,
I SHARE A DREAM...
"that one day this nation will rise up,
and live out the true meaning of its creed."

I dream of the day when God's children do sing,
"My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride,
from every mountainside, let freedom ring!"

this is not my job alone, this is also YOUR nation,
WE are the people, and WE share these soils,
so we must unite together and decide our nation's fate,
with brotherhood, sisterhood, allowing liberty's youth to boil,

all for one, one for all,
we are all sheep, walking in the same flock,
so let us join together in peace and fellowship,
under the righteous light of God
.
.
.
.
.
.
God Bless You All, and God Bless America!
.
.
.
.
.
.

"You'll find something that's enough to keep you
But if the bright lights don't receive you
You should turn yourself around and come back home" MB20

"Abraham Lincoln said, "I am a firm believer in the people,

That pretty much gets to the heart of all of it.  Much to think about here Noah...a well thought out, passionate write.
