CONDOR

My eyes are lifted by the grace
Of wings that span the heavenly skies
Suspended in a condor’s space
Where splendor saturates the eyes

A predator of human minds
Held captive by his gliding flight
And he, completely unconfined
But I, a prisoner of delight

My vision honed on wings that trace
Unhurried loops around the sky
Now he, the condor, can’t escape
Captivity of human eye

Beyond my view his feathers rise
And touch upon that heavenly door
His drifting wings that hypnotize
Escape to freedom evermore

Where is the condor that was mine
Above the California cliffs?
He’s soaring through forgotten time
And etching circles in the mist

(smiles) Oh, here's our feathery friend! (big angel hugs) This is a most beautiful graceful poem, sweet friend, you know I love it as my Native American ancestry celebrates the spirit of the condor and all of nature, God Bless You, this is a keeper, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elizabeth, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Liz...I think I may have seen him, if not here, then in your eye's poem.  Thank you for that.

"a prisoner of delight"

nodding, as we all are, with every work you post.

You do have such grace.
