Almost….there Two-week old cloud coverings broke in half, today, scattering east and west, just before the full moon set, taking with it the magic of that Hallmark card sparkle of the night… soon, dull rainbow hues could not foretell the red of a sun ball’s rise… but I was there…and eyed its glory… later… when temperatures had climbed to all of 14… Fahrenheit… there, in the slight drip of icicles before the freeze began again I overheard the sound of one cardinal, singing Welcome to a spring which is waiting in the wings. |

Yep, there were a few brave birds out here this morning too and strange the "dull rainbow hues" you mention, because this afternoon, I saw pieces of a rainbow in the sky and thought I was imagining it...guess not!! Really enjoyed this one Kari.  |
