Your Gentle Breath

While lost in dreams, your soothing voice Is clear,
As eagerly I turn and reach for you.
Your gentle breaths are music to my ear,
And with a touch my passions burn anew.
I take you in my arms, I kiss your cheek,
You sigh a tender sigh and welcome me.
Then loving hard we find the bliss we seek,
Sequestered in our secret ecstasy.
That every day I first might see your face,
Would be my deepest hope, my true desire.
Awakened to your fond and soft embrace,
I’m slowly warmed by love’s rekindled fire.

To lie along your side I’ll ever wait,
And dream of what our love may soon create.

So wonderful to read your work.
Perfection of form, as usual and oh, such a tender topic, beautifully expressed

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, this is such a beautiful pillow talk poem, sweet friend, I imagine this ever so much too as when we hold our dreams true we can always imagine love being there, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet David, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
