As the sun goes down
I begin to fear.
What each evening brings,
as darkness grows near.

Eack day I say this is the last,
I won't take it no more.
Yet I continuie to find myself here,
as he comes in the door.

In the morning he's sorry,
full of love, he's kind.
So I stay, thinking maybe tonight,
no playing my mind.

Each evening ends ,
the same as the last.
The abuse never stops,
no changing his past.

He tells me he loves me,
tells me to stay.
He shows me hate,
never any love my way.

I'm not allowed to talk,
think or feel.
Go places, have friends,
or emotions that are real.

I try to have
a life of my own.
The more i do,
the more his heart turns to stone.

Why do I allow him,
to do me this way.
I use to be strong,
No way would I stay.

Could it be,
the man in the morning.
How could one turn love to hate,
without any warning.

I feel like,
a loved starved child.
Being teased by a man,
who's abuse has gone wild.

Taking abuse,
wanting love and respect.
The more I give him,
the more i get hate and neglect.

The sun is down,
darkness is here.
I'm sitting here quietly,
holding back my tears.

This is an outcry of your injured heart.
Very powerfully written!

High time to say good-bye and heal.
No such abuse can be tolerated. Your loving heart will forgive, while stepping into freedom.

Just my reaction to your words ...

Love and hugs. Margherita

(big angel hugs) My heart sends many healing hugs your way, sweet friend, no one should ever be abused like this and I wish for you the courage to back away from him and find one who can love you with heart unconditionally and without restraint! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, I send heart hugs your way, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

You've got to get yourself out of that relationship, Marsha. I'll be praying for you.
