In Your Poetic Mind

The Hands of Wind
~~
{‘les mains de vent’}

dry leaves
       wild daisies –these memories
they seem lost :
      my last caress of weaving

Le bord de silence

{Then the clouds}

Night pushes back dawn
songs of angels
rise like floods on brilliant wings         of horizons

Let me take fill of this night
when the air changes              blue with dusk
         in endless circles

I look at this empty place:

where once we spent  nights  in conversation
A memory of
      gardenias  tickles my nose

softly

I give    your name to warm light
          inside flesh,    inside velvet skin
echoing        your peace  --   pressing   through
green

--

I keep your jade
with memory and love,  {haunting}
and  stories        of the sky

          touched again by rain

‘Tout mon amour’

~~**~~

I lie awake at night
I reach out to touch
Feel you by my side
I reach I never feel you
Will I ever get to feel you again
Just one more time

Lauren,  you have a very delicate but
masterful touch with your poetry these
days.  Superb lines and just the right
feel.
