My Recall
By Larry Chadwick

I found myself surprised last night,
In the attic of my families past.
Rustling through the memories,
I hoped this time would last.

There were things from long ago,
That somehow I forgot.
And things I could remember,
A little different than I thought.

Enjoying each recall,
I lingered in the past.
Refreshed, I woke to face today,
And promised I would make it last.

February 5, 2004

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Funny how that happens and you realize you miss something/someone that you thought you'd forgotten.  Nice to see ya Larry...

Yes, Larry, with our memories,
we can make the day last, can't we?
