Standing On My Own
~ By Sue ~

You were my one and only
Now, I don't know what to do
I always feel so lost
Since I no longer have you

I think about those years
When our love was so new
The times when they were good
And, I was there with you

We stuck it out together
When things became so tough
Standing beside each other
Displaying all of our love

Now, you are way back there
And, I am here alone
Even though times are so rough
I am making it on my own

Triumph out of defeat! You go girl.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

(big angel hugs) God Bless You, sweet friend, I am sorry of your heartache you've dealt with but with your uplifting smile you are bound to get far more reward in return, yay, you go girl, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

You are strong Sue, and you are doing it on your own.     Strong writing.

Yes, you are making it on your own. And Sue, we're all so darn proud of you.

I'm sure there are days when it's hard and lonely, but hang in there. The sun will shine on you tomorrow.

Hugs and luvs, Marti

I take no credit for my poems. Although I write them, I feel
more like I transcribe them. It's just a matter of listening.

Hello Sue

I felt so much strengh in your words and I could tell that you are a survivor who will go on to bigger and better things.  I wish for you much love and happiness.
