I believe
That love is boundless
As plentiful here on Earth
As water

That there is as much now
As there ever was

That G-d was generous in Genesis
And poured a supernal bucketful
Of each upon the world

Leaving them
To seek their own level

And us
To do with this allotment
What we will

Spending millennia
Utilizing all that was close at hand

Eschewing the quantity held aloft
And that which hides itself
Under preponderances

The notion that we have been
Polluting
Recovering
Tainting
And recycling this smallest share

Has me inquire
Of the ice in my whiskey

“Could some part of you
Ever been a brides’ conjugal gift?”

“A mothers’ tears?”

“Or even
The sweat from Jesus’ brow”?

Ed?...

Just...wow...

I love the way your mind works...
would love to peek in there,
even for a brief visit...smile

Liked the "continuation" of the theme from 'Counting sheep'.  Glad I stopped in tonight.  Enjoyed both a lot Ed...

Hey Baby,

seems to me you are onto something here:

Eschewing the quantity held aloft
And that which hides itself
Under preponderances

(sounds like this writer I kinda know *wink*)

In true boundless fashion, you have succeeded beautifully with this
*smile*

(big angel hugs) Oh Ed, I have always seen the water as the crystal tears of God, sweet friend, His saline tears to me is pure and recycles all to itself and makes clean all that is dirty, yay! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ed, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
