Where did your water go?
On a day so filled with ice and rain
The gutters all now overflow
And the fountain has no drain.
Was it humidity?
Or gray and white fur grown thirsty?

It was consumed!

Hey, Gloomy, this one was hiding from me!

Glad I found it

an ah-ha moment... I finally get the part about the gray and white grown thirsy-at least I think I understand it now).   There is some science hidden in this that i just couldn't get earlier: Liked the layers... Awesome write.  Take care.

would you mind explaining this a bit? i can see (in my mind) some clashing metaphor / analogies... and then a cat. the wording is interesting, however, and i feel like i'm missing something.
