The Jungle Look The Rare Necessities Look for those, rare accessories Those simple rare accessories To take away the worries, and the strife I mean those rare accessories Not Betty Crocker’s recipe's That bring some needed pleasure to your life It could be a nose ring... or maybe a clip It may be a tongue post... that rubs on your lip It doesn’t matter what it may be It may be something you will not see So go and get the best Then go get the rest That you’re going to need Yes it’s those, fair accessories Those simple rare necessities That take away the worries of mid-life Yes it’s those rare accessories Those simple fair necessities That sometimes almost cut you like a knife Now whether I’m working... or whether I’m home In this great land where... the buffalo roam There’s people buzzing, all around me I’m trying to get a cup, of coffee I take a look, at the fancy treats and maybe try a few... Cause it’s those rare necessities, that give us the intensities To help us get through, one more day of life Yes it’s those, rare necessities The coffees, milk, and juice and teas, that give us all the energies in life Now they have some fruit now, that we can all choose And we have this weight now, that we can all lose So go and pick a piece of nice fruit Make sure you pick one that is a beaut Just don’t forget, all the magic fruits, that make you want to toot! Yes it’s those, rare necessities, that give us the intensities That help us to, get rid of all our strife Yes it’s those rare necessities, The coffees, milk, and juice, and teas, that give you all the energy in life Now if you pick the cooked pears, cause you don’t like raw And you put the raw pears straight into your jaws Don’t pick the pears, if they are all raw you might as well have chose a bear claw The sickely pears, with somebody’s hairs, can make you want to Ralph! Cause, it’s those rare necessities, those simple rare accessories that help us to, get rid of all our strife Yes it’s those rare necessities, The coffees, milk, and juice, and teas that give us all the energies in life They’re working in factories, some most of their life They’re building refractories, then go see their wife And then they have a nice daiquiri So they can numb a few faculties Their lives are rough The times are tough So what more can we to do? Yes it’s those, rare necessities, that give us the intensities That help us to, get rid of all our strife Yes it’s those rare necessities, The coffees, milks, and, daiquiri's That help us get through one more day in life Now baby went poo poo... his tushy is raw The owl went hoo hoo... the raven went CAW! Poor mom is at the end of her rope She doesn’t know if she can still cope Her husband lost his job She’s just about to sob He gives her a hug Yes it’s those bare necessities The simple bare necessities That help us get through one more day in life Yes it’s those bare necessities Not all those rare accessories That really truly matter in our lives [This message has been edited by Richy (02-04-2004 05:46 AM).] |

 (giggles in delight) Yay! Awwwwwww, I love that Jungle Book song, "Look for the bare necessities, those simple bare necessities, forget about your worries and your strife. I mean those bare necessities, Old Mother Nature's recipes That brings the bare necessities of life."  (does happy bear dance) Yay! That is one of my favorite songs ever, hehehe, the simple blessings are what are most beautiful and your golden heart isfull of them, sweet friend, yay, let's go splash in the spring puddles in happy dance, yay, and remember... "...when you pick a pawpaw Or a prickly pear And you prick a raw paw Next time beware Don't pick the prickly pear by the paw When you pick a pear Try to use the claw But you don't need to use the claw When you pick a pear of the big pawpaw Have I given you a clue?"  (giggles in delight) Hehehe...I think Baloo means to say you can just reach for the stars with your own two hands and seek the beautues of life, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! It’s kinda nice to wear snacks, just in case you get the munchies... but then, that’s just me... lol Noah ~ Yeah Noah, I’ll never forget going to this big fancy theater to go see, The Jungle Book when I was still a youngster... Well, at least it looked like a big theater at the time, the last I heard, they turned it into this sleazy little adult film theater... Sheesh muted ~ So true Dawn. Bluesy ~ You like pears Bluesy? Really! Me too! I grew up next door to this humongous pear orchard when I was but a tyke. Truthfully and honestly... I’m sick of pears... lol I used to eat them when they were still hard and green. Hey, what can I say... with so many brothers, there was never all that much fruit in the house. I like other kinds of fruit though... how do you feel about apricots... Thanks for reading this Bluesy. I hope all is great with you, and yours... |
