Winter hides the sun and stars
It whips winds near and far
The days and nights cold and frost
Winter never seems to sleep or to be lost
At every turn an icicle forms
And drips its sweat with never a warn
We ache for spring and summer sun
Winters here seem to run out of fun
Scraping frost and gray skies abound
Winter driving a slippery slide
Winter often says stay inside
But when a snow comes and we can play
It seems the gray gets sent away
We slide – we roll
Snow angels come and visit
Now with this wonderful diversion
Winter isn’t so bad is it?????

If only we could all remember this, huh?

Nicely done, Paul..  I think winter was
made for kids...they seem to be the only
ones that don't huddle indoors...staring
outside...thinking "summer"

Goodknight,
slippery sliding in the snow?  The thought temporarily took off ten years in me!
I enjoyed reading and feeling the winter times!
    Happy writing to you, ~Sadelite~

(smiles) Yay! (rolls around in snow and makes snow cherubs) Hehehe! (giggles with boyish delight) This is sooooooo adorable, sweet friend, I believe every season has its blessings and though spring is my favorite and happiest season winter can be so uplifting too if you have loved ones near laughing, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Paul, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
