As Always Wishful Thinking Astonished and amazed Stunned by the shock He gave me his heartkey Had he changed the lock He made me feel special So why now this doubt Had he changed his mind Deciding to lock me out Over the past three weeks His heart key I had tried I can no longer gain entry Why was I being denied His heartkey I keep turning With heart longing I yearn As always wishful thinking In the hope he will return Hope©2004 |
