Passing just beyond the tips of outstretched wander
Your music drifts over in a covering of calm
Mighty and mystic the giggles of gander
Yet light in it settling soft as a psalm

When life stabs its teeth on exposed skin of white
Jubilation the bandage that soothes
Ever simple and stunning in all dreams so bright
In the healing of horror now smoothes

While the sea becomes quiet and the sunset so still
In a melody soft deems content
In response dawns a smile that the mind won’t distill
So surrounds the escaped sigh you lent

It does, doesn't it...

Now,  what would three dozen steamed and
piping hot oysters do?

Just ask...I know!!!

(smiles) This is sooooooo beautifully tranquil, sweet friend, I absolutely love this as the horizon glows with colors of daybreak all around the moment, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Yes, yes I concur:

Diamond, you are!  I loved these lines:

"While the sea becomes quiet and the sunset so still
In a melody soft deems content
In response dawns a smile that the mind won’t distill
So surrounds the escaped sigh you lent"

smile. I was just questioning the existance of serenity and here you are proving it to me beautifully.

I'd hoped I was wrong.

Thank you.

Awesome imagery. It's simply amazing how the mind can picture words written in a poem. I loved this one!
