Irregardless of the word and the subtle passage of its meaning. My whisper drifts its weight across your ears. You embrace the sound as my breath pauses to be near you. Then you smile with a whisper turning back to me - And say: "That's not a word at all." I smile in return and continue moving closer. "I know...and yet I whispered anyway." ~ For you. Love, Eric |

Hahaha..thanks Grover! "I know...and yet I whispered anyway." Irregardless is not a word (yet is found in SOME dictionaries!) yet the poem is more about a wordless state. To get there...we must move past meaning and into the pure space of feeling. That's why the poem states "That's not a word at all." and yet continues with the whisper. It's not the words, or even their meaning...it's the space that surrounds the words in a soft caress of light. Love, Eric |

(smiles) Awwwwwwwwww, I absolutely agree that feeling is more important than speech in the feelings for one another, sweet friend, the halo that surrounds a whisper is far more ticklish than a word spoken, which a whisper can melt ones heart!
