Sweeping migrations blister countless disjointed ears
Like a swirl shrugging winter’s intrusion collecting fears
Lined moist compilations, receive slippery landings
Right into our archives, so much for accountability & progress
And all those inscriptions from the Wright Brothers
While Hans Blix walks down memory lane
Save the mentorship of what so easily escapes
Like darkened leaves rotting in biblical twilight
Carnage rips at liberation, detonating teamwork
Unseen shadowy flocks of blackbirds feeding on occasional lovers
Pretty unique rules with broad powers!
Was it the rain soaking strangers, from a room darker then mine?
In third world countries, slamming messages on line?
Exchanging money for dirty bombs?
Promoting their pursuit of grocery store chains
I rip January from my calendar again
Wondering if February will be a mimicry of hope
Will we ever question our age?

While they
Snatch thoughts, hiding behind patches on their face
Nude books feasting on religious holidays, eating out of their hands
Clinging to the air of fresh intelligence in Baghdad
Blurred by our own noise of cacophonous mirrors
Could mandatory health insurance read their psyche?
Is the safety of our sunbeam a first priority?
While a couple in a small Texas town
Gets 5 years for storing Cyanide compounds?

Sidewalks gobbling up lost boys…eternally lost!
Growing twins with razor sharp teeth, underground relief
Persuading me, you and our populace to raise alert levels
Is anyone listening out there?!!!!

Possibilities holding direct elections indicating the majority?
Yet thousands of blackened henchmen crust our country
Eating the flesh right off of our memorials
Bones left to dream of freedom and inspired moments
Piece by piece they coax time from Sunday’s meal
Until torrid shake downs insult every new moon
Pretty soon, we’re all going to fall down
And none of us will be able to get up

I can’t say I agree for I will always see Hope in other’s eyes, and hear Love in others voices, I will always see the world through eyes that marvel in probably naivety at what man has accomplished.

I hate to see anything with an O beside it, so I reply and gift you with the touch of this thought, you matter, and you always will. Please look again and try to see some hope and love, for they are there. They live in each of us, we just need to open our hearts and let the sun shine in, and it will believe me it will
Love and warm stuff

(big angel hugs) Ditto to what you said, dearest friend, I find this Administration to be the worst we have ever had, and it nauseates me to hear many actually clap for something that tears away at so many individual rights with lies that endanger the world! (sad sigh) Until many realize they are deceived and deflect the distortions, we may never get up, you know who I'm voting for in 2004, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lee, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
