The deer
on the road
side, fresh
kill, eyes
skyward,
left to
wither

the drifts
of snow that
lay a shawl
on him

the leaf
sailing by
enroute at
eternity's
door

a rainbow
drips off
treetops
trapped
between
the sun
and the
storm

the bottle
head blonde
wandering
thru another
season

connected
dots,
forming
constellations

this january
morn

"A rainbow

treetops

The imagery in this piece is wonderful, your poetry is picturesque, very vivid. I really enjoyed this one.  I haven't visited for a while but this was definately a powerful welcome back.  Brilliant.

As I read I see so many lines that could lead to another beauty of poetry.

Hey, Moonchild, I never would have guessed you weren't a real blonde -- I've been out of pocket for about a week until last night and now I'm trying to catch up a little.  This was interesting.

Keep wandering as seasons come and go, you paint an ethereal landscape and yet bring me right back to the present moment.... ~P

interesting. not what i expected. a refreshing change from the typical vacuity associated with those akin to the title.

(big angel hugs) Oh Michele, this is wonderful, sweet friend, keep connecting the dots and you may come up with so many inscriptions, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michele, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

This is really beautiful writing.  I could see every one of those constellations in my own memories.  As for being a bottle-head blonde - I've yet to meet a female blonde, natural or otherwise, who wasn't great at being all woman.
