Words a plenty come gurgling forth When I want to write then they run north When I think them they seem so plentiful Then I want to write them and… They have lost their form What has happened there was a gathering storm Then the things that come out are just a shower Or even less than that Sometimes I ache to say what is inside I reach and pull and it seems to hide Still aching and retching my inner self I am beside myself with need I want so much to let it out To say it well to say it now To write a wonderful poem from deep within I try and try and try again Sometimes it finally has its way And enters into the things I say I write it down and stand firmly amazed That it came from me still puts me in a daze But other times it never surfaces Just stays inside and stokes my furnaces |

 (sigh) Oh Paul, I understand this feeling ever too well, sweet friend, so many of my poems in result then come from a bunch of random snippits tied together, making mine sound like nonsense!
