Rain swollen;
the song of the rushing stream
pierces bare mountains.

I deeply appreciate your perceptive and sensitive comment, Dawn. It is amazing to me how a neutral and objective traditonal haiku can convey very clearly and subtly one's emotional states w/o mentioning them at all...just in a simple observation of nature.

(sigh) Oh Paul, this is beautiful, sweet friend, I love the serenity of a mountain stream and outside on the plateaus overlooking Boulder, the streams near Eldorado Springs and Hanging Lake near Glenwood Springs are breathtaking! (big angel hugs) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Paul, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Paul~
Your imagery is complete in this piece~
The read created a serene comfort in it's beauty~

I 'play' with the Haiku and Senryu's ... you might enjoy this 'little' one~
