Lust

How endearing of the youthful
To think lust is for the young
For they've yet to feel the rapture
In a melody unsung

They have sipped of pleasure's goblet
Laced with subtle doubts and fears
But know nothing of a vintage
Mellowed sweetly through the years

How ingenuous the youthful
To think lust is in the eye
When with age they will discover
That God's gifts still mystify

Passion breeds its own dimension
In the deepest wells of love
But the eye cannot contain
Infinity of stars above

How delightful of the youthful
To stake claim on new fronteers
That will offer untapped pleasures
They'll discover through the years

How endearing of the aged
Who think lust is for the young
And who sing a youthful melody
As though it were unsung

Now here I am smiling at the Lady who would write of lust...and in such a gentle, compassionate way as "you've not seen nothing yet, kiddos..."
