explain

a good word,
oh they were
all good words,
one at a time in
second person
imperative –
just that

made it sound
like someone
ordering me
off an airplane
at 20,000 feet

perhaps I
misunderstood
but not likely:
it would be the
very first thing
you said or more
often didn’t say
even to yourself,
that I missed

still, they say
any landing you
walk away from
is a good one

even if it means
hitting just the
right haystack
from four miles up

Yep, I'd like an explanation too,
but I don't dare ask!

It is such an awful feeling when someone demands we justify ourselves... we either scurry to curry favor... or realize that no answer can suffice... and either way, we feel we've missed that haystack... or are back in second grade being called to the principal's office. *S*

Those who demand so rarely deserve... and don't even realize the damage they do. *S*

Excellent write, my friend... I hope PS doesn't mind me repeating her WOW! *S*
