CUTIE PIE
(A Candy Heart Poem)
By: Noah Eaton
2/12/03

Hey, sweet apple of my eye
You know the moment I first saw you
Jumpin Jesus, with your gleaming eyes so bright
And your creamy face of tirami-su

And it feels so easy as key lime pie
For you are my Pavlova Deluxe
Just having you by my side
I have no reason to cry, to complain, what luck…

Come on baby, with your smile of mango chutney
Whether it is warm or cold outside, it is paradise
Your sweet lips taste like Creme Anglaise
You’re my delight, my cutie pie

All I used to taste was sorrel and soursop
Now with your grace of sugar cane, I have more love than enough
Your guava jelly tongue and angelic mauby song
That God taught you to sing to me over a round of coconut punch

Come on baby, honeybee
Night or day, you are my shining satellite
Destiny we will be and become destiny
My sweet cutie...

"You'll find something that's enough to keep you
But if the bright lights don't receive you
You should turn yourself around and come back home" MB20

I must admit, just the pictures alone draw me to this. Where do you find such cute pictures/inspiration?

This had a lyrical feel to it. Radiating with smiles. It made me feel nostalgic. When I was a little girl my father called me cutie pie. Wonderful poem. Kie
