Loveseat For Sale

I placed an ad within our paper
“Everything Must Go”
It said to come out early
that the prices would be low

I think it’s time to pack it up
and hit another town
The clouds are getting real dark
and all the grass is brown

I’m gonna leave without a map,
and  kinda sorta roam
And when the car runs out of gas
I’ll be at my new home

I don’t have all that much to sell
or toss or giveaway
As soon as I can get this done,
I’ll be along my way

I don’t think I will bother
looking for some happiness
Every time I do, I always make
a great big mess

My heart’s not working properly,
it must be full of gunk
I tried to get it started
with some cables from the trunk

Maybe if I sell this luggage
that I’ve had too long
I can find a place
where I can finally belong

I have a pair of matching
blankets, only one is worn
I have an antique silver frame,
the picture in it’s torn

I have two season tickets,
there a real lot of fun
I guess if you are interested
I’ll sell them two for one

Maybe I’m just looking for
a different place to be
Maybe there is something
waiting out there just for me

I hope that when I finally get there
I’ll know what to do
I have a loveseat that’s for sale,
and half of it’s, still new

(big angel hugs) God Bless You, sweet friend, the thoughts of moving away in my heart make me feel emotional too, as it was when Joanna pushed me from her life after loving me and having to give up all my love! (sad sigh) This is very heartfelt, sweet friend, you deserve all the joy in the world, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Richy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sue ~ Really Sue, you want it?  OK then, I’m gonna go and rent me a little U-Haul rowboat, and head right over ok? Give me a good few weeks or so, give or take a month, all righty? Now, pretty much make a left at Japan right? Okay now, if you see me paddling a small sofa towards that big island of yours, you go ahead and give me a good all holler will ya... or better yet, throw me one of them boomerangs, preferably with a tow line attached to it all righty?      Seriously Sue, As always, Thanks so much

Deb Lynn ~ Thank You Deb, that was nice of you to say. It’s nice meeting you!

James ~ Thanks James, for reading, and for the comment.

Martie ~ Thanks Martie. You know, I didn’t mean for it to be a funny type of write. But I guess it just kind of came out that way...

Nancy ~ Thanks Nancy! I’m glad you liked it! I hope all is well.

Noah ~ Hey Noah, I’m sorry to hear about Joanna, hey all I can say is that it was her loss. You hang in there my friend. And don’t worry, you’ll meet another nice girl soon. Your one terrific guy, and you have a heart made of solid gold. Thanks always, for all the great comments, they really mean a lot. Take Care Buddy

Stevenr ~ Thanks Steven for all the support you’ve been giving me lately. I’m glad your here with us, and I’m sure many many more are too.

TD ~ You know what TD? You’re right, as long as we can still laugh at ourselves, then what can we really be afraid of, right?  Thanks for that.

Snow ~ Thanks for all the nice comments Snow. I really do appreciate it. I’m glad you could come along for the trip.

Sadelite ~ First of all, I love the name! And secondly, thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment, that was very nice of you. Nice meeting you!

Hope ~ Hope, you so nailed it on the head! I love the way you put that. I wish I could have known that earlier, I could have slipped it in the poem somewhere... lol  Thanks Hope, it’s nice to see you again.

Maree ~ Hiya Maree! Whatcha been up to? Thanks so much for the nice comments. It’s nice reading you again too. You take care, and I hope all is well.

Ethel ~ Ethel, I’m so glad your here. It just wouldn’t be the same if you weren’t. Thanks for always having such nice things to say. Take Care.

Richy, I think this is a clever write, but sad, yet strong too...I'm in the same frame of mind...so maybe when you go along you way and I go along mine, we'll meet for coffee or something

Well, that is if Sue doesn’t make me paddle it over to Australia...
Hey Dixie?  Seriously... thanks

Well Jane, there are two decent sized cushions,
we could use as flotation devices if we had to... ?

Can you dog paddle very well?

And do you own a pair of flippers?

Now I’m thinking some of that Tupperware might,
come in handy for bailing water...

Hey, guess what?

I just found the remote!
