winding

Winding down from the days destraction
I look into the bleak night
My mind so heaviy burdend with itself
I try to and try not to sleep
To try would mean no distraction
To try not would mean exhaustion
I cannot win as I cannot decide
which choice is or is not wrong

I wind myself until im stuck
Once wound i cannot wind down
To try means to wind myself further
There is an answer, everyday
I wind myself up until i brake
Everyay i am and so is the day
Broken

looking back on myself mere seconds ago i realise that i am a different person...

Welcome to passions...
The image in your write conveyed the sprung spring...the overwound watch...the endless pacing of resistence in the soul.

When I feel like this I become the river...flowing and the force clears the channels.  You conveyed the feeling very well.
