Corona Of The Sea

The sea today is not a sea
it is a mirage, lake flat,
the jetty almost flaccid,
the rocks of it pointless
in a little raft of fog

Beyond the cove and on until
the water blends into space,
a message in calligraphy
of variegated blue,
azure lines on cobalt
for eyes to read that can

In the silence trees stand bent
as if the shore breeze
urged them still to sway
from sending up their
sun seeking prayers
into the coldwarm air

Out between the palms
and waveless water
seven seabirds pace a hawk,
diving by turns while he,
unperturbed, glides on

Boy, can you paint a picture to us! To say I love this doesn't say enough!

splendid colors and images... loved the way you strung words together such as "sun seeking prayers" and "coldwarm air".

(smiles) Awwwwwwwww, you made the whole mirage like a huge oasis and reflect your art all across the surface of the abyss, dearest friend, you fingerpaint so vividly, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ed, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Your pen paints so vividly that we don't just read, we SEE... and then we step into THERE. *S* This is magnificent, my friend... I tried to select my favorite part... but I love every line. *S*

This was so good Ed.
Thought I was reading Steinbeck for a second.

You have a real talent!

Take Care,

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then you have done the sea justice, and painted her spectacular.

Lovely lovely, Ed~
