almost lifting

the veil
between
kiss
and
dream
held so
dear
branches
cherish
iridescent
wrappings
of white
cascading
apparitions
that lay so
close beneath
iced over
feet

see how silent
the tears are
streaming
down

i never could
hold you past
the dewdrops
of morning
afterall

Hi InkedGoddess,

This is one of the nicest things I’ve read
in a long time.

I can so relate.

And your picture is wonderful!

It’s nice to meet you!
