There are no lyrics to be sung tonight...
each word
creating a moment of dripping emotion
Hanging in the air

A tear drop of brittle teeth
Stuck in the throat of conciousness

No words...
Just haunting melodies carried on the backs of black birds
to the destination unknown

Lonliness is a self created manifest of illusion
Searching for something beyond the self to make me smile

Sunburnt memories leave me cold
Silver moon magic leaves old breath on my mind

Whispering a beautiful breeze to my breast
Left there to hang in waiting
For the slightest touch to send ripples of electricity through me
Then fading...
Leaving me to fall addicted to addiction
A criminal of desire
Craving Needing Wanting

Why do you have to set me free?

I am an old clock who has realised that time means nothing
mans creations deny anything real

Defying time with thoughts of you
I'm waiting- if time is an illusion-
in an endless orbit of polarised nothingness
Waiting to hear the tone of my phone with your plea for me on the other end
I'm

I've sacrificed my bliss for you!
Craving another and taking from a conditional source

The mind is evil
The heart is sore

It all seemed so beautiful before

Interesting write.
I didn't want to see it "falling" off the page without more reading it. Chris

Why do you have to set me free?

If one turns that question into a statement - the answer is right there.  I really enjoyed this piece.
