Blue Lace and Episodes of You

My eyes trail the white, as it falls softly,
in silence, wondering how your footprints
would look outside my door.

Stillness powers my heart
as I close my thoughts to the freeze of time
and let you carry me off
to the lacy blue of the night.

Hi Maureen,

I really enjoyed this piece.

One can just imagine this
daydream unfolding, all within
the soothing confines of your
warm home.

Your picture is radiant!

Nice to read you again!

Guardurthoughts, thank you *s

Richy, you are in your warm confines and we are having another snowstorm....I am up early, as I stayed on the first level sleeping by the fire waiting for the snow to fall and to stop....eventually... so I can  go out and shovel before the next one comes   Still too dark out

Thanks and nice to see you this morning

Maureen

So sorry to hear about the cold weather Maureen.
Wow, all that shoveling business sounds like a real bummer!
Well you hang in there ok, and be careful out in that stuff.
I imagine it can be real slippery.

Well, you keep that fire burning,
and try to stay warm all right?

Take Care,
Richy

ok...that was good
"lacy blue of the night"

you better apologize to the moody blues, cause you just knocked their "white satin"
right the door!

just was a super gorgeous line that should be sung out loud!

How beautiful is this then?!!

It's a mix of snow, sleet and rain here to-day. I wouldn't want to be carried off into this mess! lol. Hmmm....then again....

Well, Maureen, even if the snow isn't beautiful when you're out there shoveling it....you sure can write about it beautifully. I love that "lacy blue of the night", too.
Hugs, you
