 Webshots ~*~ If you are hurt and heartbroken from a shattered love Please know that I understand for I have been there before I know the ache and pain of the heart when someone Twists and turns like a knife in heart seeming not to realize or care They keep doing their thing fulfilling their own desires, not caring That they are trampling all over the wants and love of you I know the feeling that things would never change That those feelings of despair would last all of my days The feelings of rejection when they start a new relatonship Crushing my pride with his own and could care less for doing it And then.... Just when I came to terms with being all alone Because I would never let myself trust enough to again fall in love He came into my life bringing with him a love as I have never known before loving me as much as he loves himself I still have those feelings of doubt and fear at times But, the feelings of those are happening farther and much farther between I want to thank my Love for giving his love to me Complete with his heart and all the rest of himself ........unconditionally ~*~ |

It’s always comforting to know, that if I ever want to read about someone who is truly in love, and sincerely appreciates it. Then all I have to do, is read one of your special poems Ethel. You wrote this one for me, personally, didn't you, Ethel? I know you did. Come on, admit it...  My favorite song, check all unfavorable sterotypes at the door, is from Madonna. Hold your horses, it's not from the "Like a Virgin" album, although I do enjoy that one much...it is one from the album on which she dons a cowboy hat...anyhow...my favorite part is as follows: I have no regrets, There's nothing to forget All the pain was worth it Not running from the past I tried to do my best Know that I deserve it Many miles, many roads I have traveled Fallen down on the way Many years, many hearts have unraveled, Leading up to today and I thank you Oh, I love that. I wouldn't change a single path I've been on, because no matter how heart, soul or body breaking they may have been, they have lead me to where I am now... I love your poem, Ethel. I really do.
