And quite the nasty one, isn't it?

Descriptive of the now.  Very good!

Drink some cocoa and stay warm, my friend.

Here at 7 a.m. in Pennsylvania , it is three below zero...this poem is perfect to read this morning, very timely topic. I just fed wood into my stove, but it was dry and so cried no tears, the red coals from last night enjoyed the morning refreshment and I enjoyed the warm smile that was reflected...
Enjoyed...

A little warmer here...and the tears are falling [thankfully, for we are so in need of moisture...]

but a most enjoyable write, Sir. Stay warm and dry.

Take heart, icebox...soon the warm rains of spring will fall, and all, and the snow will melt into the river, and in the dirt will emerge one new green and then another.  Hugs!

Another drizzly, gray day here in the Pacific Northwest.  I wish we'd get a big wind and rain storm today!  ~K~

Yes, just waiting for it to hit this neck of the world.

A wonderful write ...

Hugs, Marti

(sigh) I hope you're all safe and warm, dearest friend, the latest storm sure was a messy one, yet spring is drawing near and I fill its warmth in my heart to keep the winter glowing, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

There is always running tears here. Always, never end. Though lately there has been more sun than we are used to. Great write.
