Throw me a ray of light
this winter is on overdrive
i've become delirious

the hail is the fury
of greatgod coming to get me

what sins i have accrued
of late, o woe is me!

throw another log on,
let's unscamble yet another
word i'll never hear in
the streets of life, drink
up and pour me a bud,
i'm shivering and apathetic
news of the world
can't touch me, i'm numb,

how did i end up in
cold climte, how did
i end up here, a suburban
dramamama, when my
spirit cries for redemption,

i'm evolving,like the crescent
moon waiting to come
full circle, i'm fertile
as the trees ring me
in yet another season,

i'm slipping on the ice
i've hit my head, but i'm
still sadly earthbound,
another spirit visitng
the material world, much
the same plight as the
stone or the turtle,

why am i doomed to look
up in the spaces between
the cloud formations, and
be pulled to a love that
cant be, months and months
since i've worn your smell
on me, the day you deliverd
me from the pallor and the
darkness that drained my
spirit for decades,playing
this character in a half
baked charade  (c.lol)  that
no longer can keep me?

you woke me only to leave
me suspended again, in
wait of one like you, that
never comes, o woe is me

pass the prozac please
knock me on my ass and
let me be comatized again,
living in a bubble, i
didnt know any better
anyhow

somewhere in the caribbean,
there's an rich englishwoman
that took my face,
swinging in a hammock,
an island girl is braiding her
hair, beautiful and stoned,
and she's dreaming
what it would be like to
live the rasta life

This is so sad. But beautifully written.

(big angel hugs) I too have always wanted to live by the oceanside, and I always wonder how we end up where we are as I prefer other climates over this! (sigh) But I'm moving to Portland next spring, it'll be a different experience there, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michele, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

....In all this sadness and longing, what humor, satirical even.....But isnt that one moment of wakefulness and heartfelt connection quite the antidote to a comatose life...! [a little time off from the lifetime sentence for good behavior?]  ~P
