Do you feel like a man
When you push her around
Does your ego explode
When she hits the ground

Do you smile like maniac
When you see her tears fall
Does it make you just laugh
When she hits the wall

Because Iíve seen her pain
And itís cutting, for sure
But Iíve also seen your face
When she walks out the door

I know that you love her
However mistaken
Why do you leave her so
Alone and shaken

Do you get some power
When she begs you to quit
Does it make you serene
When she throws a fit

Because Iíve seen her scream
And itís heartbreaking, thatís true
But Iíve seen you depressed
When she tries to leave you

I know that you love her
However mistaken
But if you donít right your wrongs
Sheíll leave you alone and shaken

An ode to my best friend, Byron
You know the difference between right and wrong
So prove it to her

Great poem but the first two lines are identical to Red Jumpsuit Apparatus's song- Face Down you may want to change that.
