One day this senseless pain will cease
And blood will stop it’s spill
One day the walls will crumble down
You’ll feel the way I feel

But for now I must content myself
With living on in pain
Clutching to a shard of hope
That I won’t go insane

You don’t seem to understand
Just exactly what it’s like
To stand there dying silently
After every little fight

One day you’ll hold me in your arms
Whispering apologies
One day we'll smile together
In a blissful harmony

But for now I must simply daydreaming
Of a once and future life
Where everything will always be beautiful
All it needs is a little time

You don’t seem to understand
How it feels after every blow
I’m in the Hell you’ve locked me into
But you will never know

One day we’ll be a family
Not normal- though that’s alright
One day you’ll make your daughter happy
And bring back the light

Welcome to passions!~ It is so exciting to see a new face on the site and even more so to read the poems they bring forth... This is a very honest poem, and one that runs ripe with pain and love...

I would hope that this is but a passing in your time, or a knowledge of others you know, and you are emoting for them;

This poem, as your first, is seriously a lot better then alot of ppl's 3rd and 4th poems. (not thinking anyone in particular) and is way better then anything i've written....

you have a real talent... keep it up, and continue to share
