I was eating a bowl of Cherrios,
while looking out my window.
In my memory I see a couple of kids playing on the swing.
Wishing that could be me,
but what do I know?
That was a long time ago.
I wish you could of been there,
to see us three playing fair.
Mom misses you, you should've seen what she went through.
She was really messed up after you died,
all I heard was that every day she would cry.
I now know it was for the best.
Then mom saw you take your last breathe.
But then I knew,
God had taken you from this wretched world
We are now blessed.
On that day your soul went up, I thought I heard a voise say "Atlast!"

This is sad yet beautiful at the same time, it's hard to explain what I feel about this poem. It's a very emotional read for me, having lost someone through lung cancer this kind of touches home.

I thought you did an awesome job in writing this though.

And, I'm sorry to hear about your losing someone, yet, in some ways I'm happy because their in a better place... It's confusing!

Thanks for sharing this with us though

Thank you very much. This poem was very hard to write b/c she was my favorite grand-ma in the world. While I was writing this I was crying so much. I miss her and so does everyone else that knew her. I hope very soon that I will see her one day. ( Not saying im gonna go kill myself or anything.)
But you never know when He's coming down. So yeah thanks for writing me back though.

at first i wasn't sure how i felt about the poem but as i kept reading it touched me dearly you was written with passion and i applaud you for that
