My love belongs to…
When it gets so cold you shiver,
My heart, my lungs, my liver.
My cat, Dum-Dum, who’s named for the sucker,
That saying they made up for Smucker’s.
The gold bracelet Mom got me for Easter,
When my brother lands on his keester!
Getting my nails done, finding great shoes,
The way the British say “loo”.
Country music, Orlando Bloom,
That joke they made from the word “assume”.
A good vampire movie, a good chick flick
The minty scent of restaurant tooth picks.

Stephen King’s novels, “words to the wise”,
The feel of your gaze, the green of your eyes.
My dog Roxy, cheesy tortilla chips,
The way my name sounds on your lips.
The way you’re protective, the way you’re so sweet,
You know I worship the ground beneath your feet.
The way we play argue, the way we really fight,
The way you always wanna make up right.
Yep, I love all those things up there,
But you’ve got an advantage that’s unfair,
While I’ve made all those things part of who I am,
You hold my heart in the palm of your hands!

When I stopped trying to find the right guy, and concentrated on being the right girl, the right guy found me.

Omgosh! I LOVE this poem a lot! It's my favorite by you... now. I'm glad you're posting again, I've missed reading your poems.

I liked how the flow was, how each thing that belonged to "your" heart was different and unique. It was simply wonderful.
