As I sit here in class,
I observe my friends
And look forward to the year
Coming to an end.

It's gonna be sad
To say good- bye.
I'll miss everyone.
I know I will cry.

I remember the day
When I came back
To be with my friends
And get on the right track.

We had so many moments;
Some bad, most great.
I'll always remember the love
And erase the hate.

I don't wanna say good- bye
To all my friends.
I don't want this year
To come to an end.

i think it's how everyone feels when we hafta leave school and our friends...but theres always another year (if you're still in school lol) and theres phones too! *praise God!* haha

And great first post by the way, I really enjoyed it. I think that everyone who is still in school can relate well to this poem, or even those who are no longer in school…

I was just wondering though, why do you always say, “good-bye”? Am I missing something and you are doing that for a particular reason or is that just the way you spell it? Lol.. I’m a basket case…

Anyway, I loved reading this poem, for me it was a great ending to such a special year, because I can’t really write about anything meaningful in my life, and you just seemed to capture the moment perfectly!

I can’t wait to see more of your writes in the near future, keep up the good writes

Hey were you on another site when you posted this, b/c I remember reading this one. I thought it was really good by the way. But I could of swore I read this one.
