When sadness engulfs my heart
And I feel lost and forlorn
When tears fill my eyes
And I need a shoulder to cry on
Will you be there?

When I need to be lifted up
After I stumble and fall
When I’m feeling blue
And desperate for your call
Will you be there?

When I need to share my thoughts
At the end of the day
When I need a guiding hand
To help find my way
Will you be there?

When I lie awake at night
Feeling lonely and cold
When I need you beside me
To have and to hold
Will you be there?

When I need comfort and safety
When I’m all out of hope
When I need love and care
When I’m unable to cope
Will you be there?

Hey.. I read this earlier but I didn't have time to post.. I'm surprised no one has replied yet.. this is a wonderful piece.. I loved it.. keep em coming..
