A trust taken advantage of
Can sometimes lead to disastorous consequences
When you are unable to see between
Reality and a dream

It's not simple
To me it all seemed so real

I put you on the spot
And made you the victim
Instead of me

Oh it's oh so typical of me
To find someone I truly love
And then end up messing it all up

All the hopes and fantasies
Build up in my mind
Just end up getting crushed

Oh it's oh so typical of me
To enter my own world
And come back to the real world
In worse shape than when I left

I love this! It's very well written and I love the meaning. I've felt that way so many times. it reminds me of a few of my poems!

I may say this too much, but  this is the kind of poem that invokes what people think and regret sometimes. In other words très magnifique (very beauiful) job. I enjoyed it!
