ok uh i wrote this for my brother.....i know its short but oh well.....so tell me what ya think please!...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your clothes are sitting nicely
Folded in your drawers,
With all my might, i refuse
To believe your really gone.
Your book still open,
Sitting on your desk,
Cause i still cant believe
Your lifes already done.
Your rooms just as your left it
Awaiting your return,
With all my heart and soul
I refuse to let you go.
Your place in my heart
has not been refilled,
Cause your always gonna be there
And thats something i'll always know!
WOW… that’s a very sad but beautiful poem, I’m even crying. I hope your doing better because the letting go part is the hardest thing to do. I’m still having trouble letting go of my two great grandmothers that have past a way this year.
I hope one day we both can let go
Yeah i have to agree, this poem has really touched me. It's hard to let some body go, that wasn't supposed to. I would know the feeling. 4 years ago, the guy I loved and was dating, he got ran over, in N.Y. I couldn't even say my last good bye to him. His funeral was taken place up there. But what really gets to me is that I was on the phone with him when he was just sitting there. I heard everything. So yeah.
wow first off...im so sorry about your brother.  That must be so hard.  and letting go is the worst part.  this poem...amazing.  i could just think of it...and it made me sad.  It touched me and made me think and even though it didnt say anything about it, it shows me that i need to live life to its fullest because you never know when your time is up.
Thanks for sharing this.  I really really liked it.
