Pacing nervously down the hall,
Staring obliviously at the white walls,
Knowing the news i get could be the end
What fate is awaiting my friend?

The doc came to me and
looks me in the eye
Before he starts to speak,
I softly begin to cry

"I'm sorry" he says as
he explained what went on,
"there was internal bleeding...
before we got to her, she was gone"

I turned and ran
as fast as I could
Hoping for a moment
that i may have misunderstood

You see, I drove the car
That crashed into my friends,
And I killed her today
I dont want to apprehend

*a month later*

I walk to her grave
And tell her goodbye
I can't believe she left me
In a blink of an eye

I won't ever forgive myself
For what I have done
This new path of misery
Has only just begun

And just to clearify, NO I DID NOT KILL MY FRIEND. this is fictional

Hey guys.. it's been a little while since I've posted anything.. but I just wanted to say as a first to reply that I loved this... It made me wonder what was wrong and what was going on.. very nice job..

Hey,

Even though this is fictional i believe that you caught the moment just right, cause this stuff does happen all the time.
I loved this poem a lot, it helps you to stop and think that you need to be careful in what you do, or someday you might end up living with regrets of a terrible kind.
