How can you fight each other
Like there’s no love in this world
How can you sleep knowing
Another is dying because
of something you did

A war is going on
That no one is stopping
stop the dieing
stop the crying
before any more die
from your destruction

There’s always a war
in someway we may not see
Every day of our lives
No escape from this evil
That’s engulfed so many human beings

We were clueless growing up
our parents always hiding it
protecting us from it all
Now we’re older
the worlds told us different
It’s sad knowing in our happiest of moments
Someone is dieing because of it

another day
another war
that’s how its been
and always will be
kind of sad don’t you think
we’ll never learn from our mistakes?

Okay, wars are sad things, and I think you are talking about the war that is going on now… and since I think we both disagree on it I won’t debate that with you.

Let me just say this is a good poem though, it makes you stop and think.

P.S. Sorry no one has posted on this earlier.

is part of this about the current prez? nice poem. it really does make ya think but i'm guessing your sick of hearing that so i also like this part of your poem:
