With in your eyes

My friend and I
dreamed of being sisters
saying what if
but always wonting it as is

but nothing lasts for ever
defiantly not happiness
the bad comes in
sadness comes to being
all comes to an end

her father ran away
died in the snow
my parents divorced
mothers married
fathers dating

in our greatest of time of need
we were no where to be seen
no talking between
we were like strangers
in a different being

we were the closest of friends
been that way
for 7 years straight
but in the blink of an eye
a friendship can die

I became distant
she to busy to play
as they say nature
take its place

good but check for spelling errors. and  on the line "in are greatest of time of need "
it would be "our"  not "are"
just some thoughts.

This is a great poem! And like he/she said, check for spelling errors, there are a few.
I seem to be saying this on all the poems I read but… I can really relate to your poem!
One of my old friends and I became like this, never really gotten back together but I still hope

Thanks for sharing this poem… I think a lot of people will relate
