I made up my mind today
That this just can’t go on
I’m sick of these games you play
I’m out the door I’m gone

You’ve messed with my head
and broken my soul
With all thatyou’ve said
It’s finally taking it’s toll

Before me you stand
Eyes aglow, smile gleaming
Heart in your hand
I must be dreaming

It’s just another sick trick
With you I’ll never win
It’s no good I’m fading quick
I’ll admit defeat and give in

So this is where I say farewell
Though it’s killing me inside
I hope you realise your putting me through hell
But I won’t let you take my pride

So on that note I’ll walk away
With my head held high
Although I’m torn into pieces today
Tomorrow I might fly.

I loved that last stanza so much. Good for you for walking away from someone like this.

This stanza was amazing! I love the whole poem, but my favorite stanzas have to be the first and the last

Great job! Keep posting, i look forward to seeing more poems from you.
