I wonder what you're thinking
when you're thinking of me,
how do you feel,
what girl do you see?

Did you paint me in colors,
of beauty and in light?
Do you think you missed out
because we feel in love so young?

Do you see my gray hairs?
Do you wish I was someone else?
When we still dance to our old songs,
do you feel the spark?

It's been sixty years since I first met you,
fifth grade was so horrible,
thank you for saving me,
my one true love.

This smile is fake,
These tears aren't.

i loved the concept of this poem it was great.. It's like a fairytale.. not many people at all will ever marry someone they new in the fifth grade and still be with them til they get old.

Wow! When i first started reading this i thought, "oh, another love poem gone wrong", but i was sooo wrong! This was such a great suprise for me. Like heather said, it's almost like a fairy tale. I really enjoyed it.
