I almost cried last night,
almost felt a tear drop...
but before I quite understood,
I brought myself to stop.

My heart is saying one thing,
my head tells me another...
my body says something different,
and I don't know why I even bother.

This life is nowhere near fair,
not everyone nkow all...
but I can't help but feel,
like my backs the only one against the wall.

I close my eyes and see a world,
of everyone living happily forever...
but when I open them again,
it's all puzzle pieces that I can't put together.

I don't know how I am supposed to feel,
or how to react to everyone around...
they think they're saying everything clear,
but I can't hear a sound.

So I'll just keep on livin' like nothing's wrong,
just because I don't want to regret...
and one day I'll just turn around,
walk away, and forget.

Hey,

I really liked your poem.
Mostly I liked how you related it to puzzle pieces, I do that all the time! So now I know I am not the only one out there doing that... I was getting scared! My boyfriend thought I was a quack for thinking that

I sort of feel like your poem jumps around. Like it's confusing in parts, but some how I understood all of it, so why should I be saying it's confusing?? I don't know why, it just "Feels" like it... Wow... I should go to bed!

Good job

The_girl_next_door I am looking forward to more posts from you! So don't you dare stop writing

Good job, great write. It flows well and has an imaginative point of view when you talk about opening your eyes. Everything works in your head but not in the real world right? Same here.
